Job Purpose
To lead and be accountable for entire Engineering department of Adani Aviation.

Key Accountabilities
1.
Design, Manage & Direct all the activities required to achieve overall stipulated standards of engineering services, airworthiness of aircraft and continuously improve them. Plan, execute and manage CAR 145 maintenance organization of Adani.
2.
Ensure implementation of airworthiness standards as defined within CAR by researching permanent records, maintenance tracking program, EASA/FAA Airworthiness Directives and Manufacturer’s Service Bulletins for assigned aircraft. Frame internal company policies and procedures in sync with the Continuing Airworthiness Manual, (CAME), Maintenance Procedures Manual (MPM) or any company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Design standards for quality maintenance, preventive maintenance and inspections and achieve industry best practices. Provides technical support, as needed, in support of aircraft fleet.

Establish process and its effective implementation for procurement of parts and materials. Perform maintenance planning along with the management oversight of inspections, repairs and modifications. Actively plan and implement effective engineering & servicing schedule of aircraft while meeting the compliance as well as business requirement.
5.
Oversee and entire Quality Oversight and Quality Assurance including all Operational and Technical Audits are performed at the highest possible standard for Charter/Corporate Flight Department/NSOP Standards.
6.
Establish world standard practices for corporate jet/fleet maintenance including setting up of systems that capture all PIREPS, MIREPS, Snags, Incidents and Maintenance Actions that may be Critical, Non Critical, MEL or Simple Cabin Defects and take action and release back to service aircraft within measurable time/duration.
7.
Should have experience of at least major maintenance check including planning for maintenance, provisioning of spares, stores, training, documentation including overseeing of change of operating manuals and developing Operating Procedures and Systems.
8.
Ensure corporate conformance is maintained at all times including review and periodic audits of all suppliers and vendors in accordance with DGCA Part M and DGCA Part 145.
Education & Qualification
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Engineering Graduate/B-Tech/MSE
2. Mechanical Stream B1 or B2
3. BSE Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
4. IAF Maintenance College Course / Indoctrination Course (Defense Candidates only)
5. Full Scope License with Airframe, Engine and Avionics.
6. At least two Jet aircraft endorsements
Trainings & Certifications:
1. ICAO/DGCA Five-day course in SMS
2. DGCA approved Course in Part 145
3. DGCA approved Course in Part M
4. DGCA approved Course in Human Factors
5. DGCA Approved Course in Accident and Incident Investigation/IAF/IN
equivalent acceptable.
6. QMS ISO 9001-2015 Lead Auditors course.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
1. Director of Engineering/Head of Base Maintenance/Line Maintenance Manager with an existing /NSOP, 145 or airline.
2. Experience on managing multiple types.
3. Experience Fortune 1000 Indian Rating companies or OEM Tech Rep.
4. Experience of working with the DGCA/Ex DGCA Inspector/Surveyor
