JOB PURPOSE

To ensure the Tenders are awarded as per the guidelines given, while floating the tender

Award of Contract as per the guidelines given.

CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Responsibilities)

List the critical accountabilities that must be achieved in order that the job purpose is fulfilled.

Prepare Tenders, RFPs, etc.., based on the standard formats by including the Particular Conditions, technical details (if any) to suit the need of the Indent requirement received from Design team, Projects team, etc.,

Float enquiries in suitable forms Viz. Tenders, RFPs, etc.., to the selected and prequalified vendors, contractors based on the approved contract strategy and prequalified vendor list

Organizing Pre bid meeting along with vendors, contractors and internal stake holders like Design team, Projects team, etc.., based on the requirement and circulate the MOM

Prepare comparison statements with technical, other inputs received from Design team, Projects team, etc.,

To organize discussions, negotiations with vendors, contractors, etc.., to ensure get the best possible rates and to maintain best and company beneficial contract conditions

Prepare tender notes on daily basis with details of tender stages, comparative statements, deviations sought

To appraise the pricing committee about the tender process along with pros and cons of the quotes and comparisons

Obtain approval from the Pricing committee and prepare Contracts, Work Orders, Purchase Orders, etc.,

Issue order and obtain contractors acceptance

Managing the documentation

To hand hold the vendor and projects post award till commencement of work
