JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Primary Role:

To implement company’s business strategy and policies pertaining to overall planning and monitoring of project execution, ensuring timely resource planning, allocation and availability enabling achievement of targeted Sales, tracking Profitability & monitoring resource utilization for the effective and efficient management of costs.
Basis the business strategy & macro environment identify the Major Initiatives that need to be taken up, plan the actionable & monitor execution with periodic reviews to be conducted with the operations and management team.

 

Strategic and Operational Reviews:

Co-create Major Initiatives for respective segments, regions and geographies along with the Operations and Functional Teams to ensure long term sustainability of achieving executional excellence objectives for the organization along with the sales, profitability and working capital objectives.
Rigorously drive the cascade and monitor execution of Major Initiatives with periodic reviews. Facilitate timely intervention by senior management and Heads where necessary.
Define and monitor the monthly OAAP reviews as well as conduct suitable IRM / DRM periodic /fortnightly reviews pertaining to the Planning and Sales Forecast Vs Actual along with the Cost management aspects along with various Operational and functional Team across regions and geographies.
Analyse the bottle necks or other hurdles at operational levels and work with the teams to resolve the same with ownership on obstacle busting actions needed. 
Basis the outcome of the OAAP reviews conducted with the functional / operational teams, prepare the summery OAAP MIS note for review with the management on periodic basis.
Collaborate with Contracts, Business Development and Finance team to analyze quote and order book trends to generate insights and intelligence for supporting strategy formation /strategy updating.

Identify the potential means to increase the sales billing/productivity on existing projects including researching and identifying use of smarter execution techniques, mechanization opportunities and collaborate with operational teams for enabling their adoption and monitor their implementation.
Identify under- performing Projects / Regions / Segments, analyze the issues, come up with action plan and suitably implement the corrective action needed on timely basis in coordination with the operational and functional teams

 

Project Management:

Overall Monitoring and management of projects across segment & regions by

–  Tracking the Progress as per agreed schedule/ Targets / Forecasts.

– Monitoring Material Consumption & Costs through suitable MIS Reports analysis with timely corrective interventions where required

– Monitoring Manpower Costs through My Team APP and DPR Reports analysis with timely corrective interventions where required

Tracking / Monitoring the Resource planning as per the defined constants with respect to Manpower, Material, Machinery and monitor corrective actions based on variance reports, suggest suitable corrective actions and monitor implementation of the same at the project level in coord with Operations Team – GM/AGM/AVP/VP/SrVP.
Monitor Overall Post Contract Management & highlight /track the suitable interventions as required.

 

 

 

DPR Management

Setting up of DPR process & its periodical review for All projects with the DPR team.
Review of DPR Report for Actual Labor expenses against Budgeted expenses
Regularity of submission of DPR
Variance of the Actual Labor cost against Theoretical costing (Budgeted costs, My team APP and DPR tracking) & against actual Billing.
Organise training to Site personnel for submission of DPRs
Resolution of queries related to DPR whenever encountered

 

Way of Working:

Drive robust way of working within the team across the geographies to ensure joint accountability for delivering the productivity /output targets and MI/ KI milestones.
Identify highly successful Projects across segments and geographies/regions, assimilate the best practices and learnings and create repeat index towards enhancing executional excellence.

 

People Management:

Ensure there is no gap of repartees against approved position/s in their respective region. If any, to be filled in within stipulated time with help of TA team
Set periodic reviews on individual performance and provide constructive feedback

Review the team attrition and exit analysis and plan corrective action for ensuring zero attrition

 

SPPB:

Have a good understanding of all relevant Systems, Processes, Policies and Business Module (SPPB) pertaining to organisation.
Ensure that the team is trained and updated on all the relevant modules of SPPB
Regularly collect feedback on improvements required in SPPB and escalate to the RA1 / Sr. Management

 

Governance:

Participate in Joint monthly / Weekly reviews of the Project team and other functional teams and BD Team. 
Ensure business reviews are conducted in the Branch / Region with the RA1 / Sr. Management as per the laid down process.
OAAP to be made and submitted on time and as per index

 

SPECIFIC CANDIDATE PROFILE

Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are essential to drive operational excellence and business growth.
Multitasking must have knowledge in resource planning, cost control, process optimization and execution monitoring across multiple projects.
Should be able to lead Cross-functional teams, implement strategic initiatives, and drive governance through structured business reviews and must have experience in contract base construction work.
