Aditya Birla Group is one of India’s largest Global Conglomerates. The corporate office has a core Projects team which is required to manage and oversee infrastructure projects key and critical stakeholders across business units.

 

As the Lead – MEPF, Base Build & Interior Projects at Aditya Birla Management Corporation Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting (MEPF) engineering and interior design projects. Your role will involve ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while adhering to safety regulations and promoting sustainable practices.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 12-15 years of experience in MEP design and execution with a strong focus on project management.

Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (Master's degree preferred).

Strong understanding of MEP systems and their applications in commercial, hospitality, and residential projects.

Expertise in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address challenges and propose innovative solutions.

Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Certification in safety management (e.g., OSHA 30-hour) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Assisting and guiding the business unit in implementing new regulatory and legislative requirements, compliance processes and policies

Providing timely advise /guidance on Regulatory and Compliance aspects to business in consultation with the central Compliance team

Management and monitoring accuracy of reporting of Compliances by the functional owners for the said business vertical, in Compliance Tool

Drive and monitor the Stage gating process effectively across all stages of a project lifecycle

Through ongoing monitoring and validations,

o Identify opportunities for creating/strengthening of process, policy, and qualitative improvements.

o Recognize regulatory deficiencies/gaps and collaborate with business unit to develop strategies for remediation with defined timelines.

Hiring for DGM/AGM Compliance

Qualifications: Any postgraduate with experience in managing Compliances of Offices/commercial buildings, malls.

Responsibilities:

Assisting and guiding the business unit in implementing new regulatory and legislative requirements, compliance processes and policies

Providing timely advise /guidance on Regulatory and Compliance aspects to business in consultation with the central Compliance team

Management and monitoring accuracy of reporting of Compliances by the functional owners for the said business vertical, in Compliance Tool

Establish and continuously improve, through automation and deployment of innovative techniques, a consistent operating framework for the identification, management, monitoring and reporting of compliance risks in the business.

Recognize deficiencies and areas of improvement through sample validations and collaborate with business unit to develop strategies for remediation with defined timelines.

Assist CCO in driving the Compliance framework and strengthening the business function capabilities.

EXPERIENCE: 12 – 15 Years of proven experience in execution and project management of in refurbishment and retrofitting of projects.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Experience in handling various civil and interior works pertaining to malls including, façade, waterproofing, RCC, Structural steel, Masonry, imported marble flooring / dado, plumbing, etc.
Project management for various ongoing renovation works at all malls.
Prepare and cross verify various BOQ as well as estimates for various upcoming projects.
Ensure timely completion of projects with quality standards, within stipulated timeliness / budget.
Value engineering to bring down cost / timeliness.
Prepare detailed specification & work mythologies for various projects.
Prepare the schedule and track for timely completion of projects.
Prepare MIS and presentations for review of management.
Checking and certification of civil and interior bills
Tracking budget v/s actual for various projects in hand.
Sound Knowledge about MEP services.
Co-ordinate with operations for smooth handover including understanding their requirements, etc. complete.
Co-ordination with various agencies including PM deployed at site for work progress, quality and timeliness.
Prepare presentation on work progress, budgets, costing, etc.
Prepare Budgets, cash flows, s-curve based on preliminary / detailed drawings.
