Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

 

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for technical equipment and materials
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors, ensuring favourable conditions
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to understand the specifications and requirements of materials and equipment
Stay informed on new advancements and emerging products in the oil and gas sector
Address any logistical issues or delays to ensure project timelines are met
Manage procurement budgets, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities
Assess and mitigate risks associated with the procurement process, including supply chain disruptions and supplier reliability
Monitor inventory levels by coordinating with store team and logistics teams for timely delivery of materials
Ensure adherence to ethical sourcing practices
